Financial Policy
We provide the finest of dental care to our patients. For this reason, payment is due at the time of treatment unless other arrangements have been made through our business office. For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We also make available third party financing, which is interest-free to you for a 12 month term through Capital One.
Dental Insurance
Dental insurance, unlike medical insurance, is actually a benefit your employer offers, not true insurance. Dental insurance is a contract between your employer and a dental insurance carrier. The benefits you receive are based on the terms of that contract and the UCR (usual and customary fee determined by the contract), not by the actual fees charged in your local area.
Our office will do everything we can to maximize your benefits including submitting the insurance for you and sending any other materials such as x-rays or necessary narratives to the insurance carrier. However, we do not base our treatment on what your insurance company covers, but rather on the treatment that is the best choice for you. We do attempt to calculate what the coverage will be, and we ask for your estimated portion at the time of treatment.
