First Visit

You will meet with the doctor for a comprehensive exam, intraoral cancer exam and, if necessary, appropriate x-rays will be taken. Your doctor will study your x-rays and clinical findings. We will schedule a cleaning appointment for your next visit. The doctor will formulate a treatment plan and review it with you. (A second visit with the doctor for a consultation may be necessary.)

Please alert the office ahead of time of any medical conditions that may be of concern or require premedication (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication.

**Important: a parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 years of age.

X-Rays

After your comprehensive oral examination the necessary x-rays to complete your evaluation will be taken. If your previous dentist has taken recent x-rays, we would like to have those x-rays at the time of your first visit if possible. Please download the online form x-ray release form and fax or mail it to that office prior to your first visit with us. (Due to current HIPPA requirements, the dentist must have the request in writing for his or her files.)
