As a family, we have been going to Dr. Ratz since he was in the Plainfield office. My mother considers him to be part of our extended family. This is one dentist and staff no one has to be afraid of - they take great care of the patients and treat everyone as a member of their extended family. I highly recommend Dr. Ratz and his team and have recommended Dental Associates every chance possible. I am still disappointed Dorinda is no longer a hygienist and moved to billing!!! — Rachel S.

I am so grateful for finding DABR. I previously had a very verbally abusive dentist who was incompetent and substandard in practice and workmanship. I refer to him as the "Devil Dentist of Chatham". Finding DABR and Dr. Kuitems (six years ago) changed my attitude and approach to the dental experience. The ladies (Heather, Diane & Katie) at the front desk treat me as a friend whom they are genuinely happy to see. Dr. Kuitems' assistant, Erica, greets me and escorts me back to Dr. K's room. (Or Jeff greets me and takes me back to give my teeth a fine-tuned check-up.) Dr. Kuitems enters with a big smile and a fun anecdote. The appointment runs smoothly. I ask a lot of questions which Dr. K thoroughly answers. My anxieties have disappeared. I am comfortable and confident that all is good. I feel respected and validated. AND ... above all... Dr. Kuitems’ workmanship, character, kindness and ethics are qualities of the quintessential dentist ... and HUMAN BEING ...that he is. — Linda M.

I have been going to this dental office for close to 10 years now, and I can't say enough about how great they are. The receptionists, Kathy and Heather, are THE nicest and sweetest receptionists you will ever meet! They are always welcoming you with warm smile, they are genuine and helpful, and have lots of patience. Always make me smile just seeing them alone. The main dentist of mine is Dr. Faltas and he is very professional, highly skilled, friendly and always follow up on a phone call after any major procedure, just to make sure you are feeling ok. Super nice dentist who I trust completely. I had to get tooth implant and my oral surgeon there, Dr. Albani has done great job. He is really friendly, funny, and I feel very comfortable talking to him about anything and everything, like a very good friend. I had a few hygienists over the years, and they have all been great also. They really take good care of you. I have recommended this dental office to many people, since they are amazing in every way. Dr. Kuitems has a very pleasant manner and has the gift of putting patients at ease during dental work! He also has expertise in orthodontics and gave me some very good advice when my kids were in braces. The entire staff are professional and go out of their way to accommodate patients. I also want to add that the group has done an exceptional job in creating a relaxing atmosphere. The front desk staff are friendly and attentive and the waiting area is so comfortable (although the wait to see a dentist/hygienist is very short!) Dr. K is truly exceptional. His ability to fit my crowns, and even the temp, has never been matched in my long history with dental care. He is also extremely communicative. Prior to the procedure, he explains what will be taking place and why. During the procedure, he asks about your status constantly and explains the progress. And I would be remiss if I failed to mention my favorite hygiene therapist, Durga. She is very gentle and thorough. She makes dental cleanings quick and easy, and we have a laugh or two along the way! — John S.

I was told by Dental Surgeons, and Dentists that I needed an implant in front tooth, a three unit bridge could not be saved and another tooth might not be salvageable. Dr Kuitems evaluated me and reinserted the crown in my smile after rebuilding core and post, saved my three unit bridge and did a root canal successfully on the other tooth. He is a very kind and caring professional and his staff are wonderful. Lastly, his lounge waiting area and dental chair are more comfortable than any I have experienced elsewhere.
